I am leaning towards running the half marathon in Lagos on December 8th. I have been trying to get my lazy butt back into running. I met some folks for a 5 mile run this morning and plan to meet up with them tomorrow morning too. I am not used to running in the heat like I was in Houston because my running lately has been on a treadmill in front of a wall air conditioner. The run will not be my fastest but I am sure it will be a lot of fun.

I am tring to comment on your posting, but we seem not to be able to connect, so this is a trial post...
You are going to be in much better condition for skiing than the rest of us - we will be envious. Wishing you well with your training and the run. Looking forward to hearing your impressions of China - we are planning to go next Sept.
